Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. What you pay for

A Contact Pass costs ₹59 (inclusive of applicable taxes) and lets you start conversations with any lister or flatmate on FindFlatmates for 7 days from the moment of purchase. It is a one-time payment for digital access that starts immediately. It does not renew automatically and you are never charged again unless you buy another pass. Listers never pay to receive or reply to messages.

2. When we refund

Because the pass is activated instantly and gives access straight away, we refund only in these cases:

• Payment taken, no pass: money was debited but your Contact Pass was not activated.
• Duplicate charge: you were charged more than once for the same pass.

In these cases you get a full refund of the affected amount.

3. When we don’t refund

• Once a pass is active, whether or not you use it, including if you find a place quickly or change your mind.
• After a pass has expired.
• If a lister doesn’t reply, a listing is no longer available, or a deal doesn’t work out — we don’t control listers’ decisions.
• If your account is suspended for breaking our Terms of Service (for example fraud, harassment or fake listings).

4. How to request a refund

Email support@findflatmates.in within 30 days of the payment with the phone number or email on your account, the date and amount, and (if you have it) the Razorpay payment ID from your payment confirmation.

We reply within 2 working days. If you were charged and no pass appeared, we can usually confirm it with Razorpay and either activate your pass or refund you the same day.

5. Refund timelines

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method (UPI, card or net banking) through our payment partner, Razorpay. Banks usually credit them within 5–7 working days of approval. If the amount was deducted but the payment failed, your bank normally reverses it automatically within the same period.

6. Cancellation

There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel: a pass simply ends after 7 days. Listings are free to post and you can remove yours at any time. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@findflatmates.in.
